Japan Earthquake 2011 – Hiroshima Quake
We had a new earthquake tonight here in Japan. This time Hiroshima had the epicenter.
Personally I don’t live in Hiroshima. I live a bit more to the West in Japan, but it didn’t stop the earthquake from slamming the couch that I sat on into the wall behind me.
With the memories of earlier this year my heart beats fast as soon as the ground moves.
My illustration above shows our earthquake tonight. It wasn’t nearly as strong as the insane huge ones on 11th of March 2011 when we got the big tsunami waves and all.
The Year Of Big Devastating Earthquakes In Japan
This year 2011 has been the most active earthquake year in my lifetime. Especially as a Scandinavian citizen living in Japan. It’s a phenomena I got in touch with here in Asia.
Here above you can see an animated video of how our Japanese earthquakes arrived in clusters earlier this year in March. Earthquake after earthquake – like in a chain effect.
Tonight’s November Earthquake In Hiroshima Japan
I got lots of questions from worried people around the world asking me what’s happening in Japan tonight? That is why I write this short blog post to inform that the situation is ok.
Seismic activity on daily basis is normal in Japan and after shocks follow larger quakes.
Personally I didn’t get any damages from this earthquake except for hitting my back head into the wall when the couch suddenly jumped. It’s amazing how fast earthquakes start.
Back To Happy Japan Again – Preparing For Christmas
You will see normal blog posts here soon, about learning Japanese, writing Hiragana and other Japan related topics…such as wild monkeys, dating in Japan and some other fun.
Several readers have contacted me and asked me to write more about love in Japan. A tough year like this 2011 requires happy mood topics to compensate for the rest of year.
